Olivia loved making sand angels. This was after we found her. Kind of the scariest ten minutes of my life. When we first got to the beach, Mat and I were putting sunscreen and changing Hudson into his swim diaper/swimsuit when Olivia disappeared. I knew she wouldn't go in the water (she doesn't like her face getting wet), but had no idea which way she had wandered. After wandering around the beach for a few minutes, we heard a call... "Mat and Bri, Olivia is waiting for you at the lifeguard tower." On the bright side, at least she remembered our names and knew enough to let someone help her (her loud sometimes obnoxious cry actually came in handy!) All was forgotten in a few minutes and she was back to playing like nothing had happened.
While down in Orange County, we got to meet up with our favorite BYU-I California friends, Brent and Caitlin! We love them and only wish we could have been able to spend more time together!!
