We celebrated Olivia's birthday (again) on Saturday. She invited 11 of her closest friends (we'll be downsizing next year...or be having it somewhere other than our house...). It was a Halloween theme costume party and it was really fun (albeit a tad bit crazy).
She was so excited for her party!! **Notice the pumpkins behind her, they'll be important for later...

There were decorations!
And costumes....
Trying out his flying skills...

And he's adorable...

But back to Olivia...with the invitations...
was a small pumpkin that the girls (and Isaac) were to bring decorated. Olivia awarded prizes to 1st and 2nd place pumpkins (and costumes). Although she wanted Emma to win everything, we tried to spread it out a little bit. (Sorry about your prize, Britni/Dalia...)Our first game was a pumpkin craft. I cut out pumpkins and a bunch of shapes so they could each make their own pumpkin. Then we had a skeleton scavenger hunt (I hid bones and clues all over the house)...and there are their pumpkins on the fridge!

We went searching for "skel-y" in the bathroom...

Outside...

Even at the mailbox.

We played a few other games, and ended up with the classic mummy toilet paper game..

Look at those cute mummies!!

We then had a ice cream sundae bar (and cute witch hat waffle cones made by Mat).

All the princesses loved it...

And even had some dry ice punch...very exciting!

Then we opened presents! I am so glad that we have been able to make such good friends since we've moved here.

This friend, however, we'll be keeping forever...Emma stayed the weekend with us and Olivia loved every minute of it. They went to sleep talking and woke up early (6 AM!!!) talking.
And we know these friends (who are basically cousins) will always be there to help us celebrate too!
And the favors (I figured everyone probably had enough candy and Olivia LOVES bubbles). Mat did a great job on them, sometimes I wonder how other people do anything without a graphic designer as a husband...
